Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Beddar with Cheddar Smoked Sausage, cut into bias sliced pieces
  • 1 can (28 ounces) Bushs® Original Baked Beans, drained
  • 1 package (12 ounces) Kings® Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ½ sweet red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon spicy mustard
  • 6 slices Cheddar Cheese

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat Pit Boss® Griddle to 350°F.
  2. Leaving rolls connected to each other, slice rolls in half horizontally. Brush the cut sides with butter. Place butter side down on griddle; heat until toasted.
  3. On griddle, cook sausage; turning often until heated through.
  4. On griddle, cook and stir beef and onions until beef is no longer pink.
  5. Pour beans into a 12-inch skillet. Place pan on hot griddle and cook until beans are heated through; about 5 minutes. Add the sausage, ketchup and mustard. Cook and stir until heated through.
  6. On cut side of bottom rolls, layer the cheese, beef mixture, beans, sausage and roll tops.
