This simple but delicious peach or plum and ricotta flatbread with a scattering of Johnsonville smoked sausage is an ideal appetizer to pair with a glass of wine or as a delightful addition to a brunch buffet.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 5 links (1/2 package) JOHNSONVILLE Sweet & Smoky Smoked Breakfast Sausage, cut into thin bias-slice pieces
  • 1 package original Naan (2 pieces) or 5 mini-Naan flatbreads
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ peach or plum (fresh or thawed from frozen), thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons peach or apricot preserves
  • Honey or maple syrup, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place naan on a sheet pan. Spread half of the ricotta onto each naan flatbread (bubble side up). Arrange fruit slices and sausage slices on top of ricotta cheese.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges of naan are browned and sausage pieces begin to caramelize.
  4. In a small, microwave-safe bowl microwave preserves in 10-second increments until melted, stirring after each cook time.
  5. Remove flatbreads from oven and lightly brush peaches and sausage slices with the melted preserves.
  6. Serve with extra preserves or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
