POLISH KIELBASA TURKEY SAUSAGE & SWEET POTATO SKILLET

Ingredients

  • 1 package (13.5 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Polish Kielbasa Turkey Rope Sausage, cut into bias-slice pieces or 1 package (10 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Polish Kielbasa Sausage Slices
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 yellow peppers, chopped
  • 5-6 sweet potatoes, diced or spiraled
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, toasted pine nuts and green onions, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook and stir the garlic, onions and pepper in oil over medium heat until tender; about 5 minutes.
  2. Add sausage; stirring occasionally and cook an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Add sweet potatoes and water.
  4. Cover skillet and cook until tender.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese, toasted pine nuts and green onions over sausage mixture.
