Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 package (19 ounces) JOHNSONVILLE Hot or Mild Italian Sausage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cups asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 medium summer squash, halved and sliced
  • 1 medium zucchini, halved and sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chunked
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare sausage according to package directions. Cut into coin-slice pieces..
  3. In a large bowl, combine the onion, asparagus, squash, zucchini, pepper and garlic; toss with olive oil. Spoon onto a sheet pan; add sausage.
  4. Grill for 10 minutes; add the tomatoes and grill an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Toss with basil, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.
