Wow your guests with this patriotic centerpiece! This majestic eagle is crafted from a savory cheese ball, topped with mozzarella for the head, and layered with Johnsonville Summer Sausage slices to mimic feathers. Add a bell pepper beak, olive eyes, and serve with crackers for a fun, flavorful party starter that soars!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Johnsonville Original Summer Sausage Slices
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • Toppings: yellow bell pepper for nose, shredded mozzarella feathers, and olives for eyes.
Directions:
  1. Mix together cheese ball ingredients until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into an eagle body—think round for the chest with a raised head and neck.

  3. Add a sliced yellow bell pepper for the beak.

  4. Cover the head and neck with shredded or sliced mozzarella to mimic white feathers.

  5. Starting from the bottom and working upward, layer summer sausage slices like feathers along the body.

  6. Press in black olives or olive slices for the eyes.

  7. Chill until firm and serve with crackers!

Turn Johnsonville Hot Dogs into the stars of your 4th of July spread with this American flag-inspired board! Hot dogs in buns create the stripes, blue corn chips form the flag’s corner, and star-shaped white cheese slices complete the look. It’s a festive, feed-a-crowd favorite that’s as fun to build as it is to eat.

Ingredients:

  • Johnsonville Hot Dogs
  • hot dog buns
  • 1 cup blue corn chips
  • 2 slices white cheese
  • 1 small star-shaped cookie cutter (⭐ optional, but fun!)
  • 1 large serving platter or tray
  • Optional Toppings & Extras:
    • Ketchup, mustard, relish, chopped onions, or sauerkraut

Directions:

  1. Cook your Johnsonville Hot Dogs using your favorite method—grill them for that classic summer flavor, boil for simplicity, or air fry for a quick, crispy bite. They’ll be ready in about 8–10 minutes.
  2. Lightly toast or warm the hot dog buns if desired—this step is optional but adds an extra layer of flavor.
  3. On a large rectangular platter or baking sheet, start creating your flag by forming a square in the top-left corner with blue corn chips.
  4. Cut white cheese slices into stars using a small cookie cutter (or create one large star if you prefer). Carefully place the cheese stars on top of the blue chips to represent the stars of the flag.
  5. Lay out the hot dog buns in neat rows next to the chip section, mimicking the stripes of the American flag.
  6. Place one Johnsonville Hot Dog into each bun.
  7. Make final adjustments to keep the lines clean and the flag formation balanced.

Keep It Fun. Keep It Together.

Keep your plates full, keep your tables fuller, and whatever you do, don’t forget to keep it juicy.
