Big brat flavor. No big dinner decision. Juicy Original Bratwurst, tender peppers and onions, melty provolone and a kick of spicy mustard get tucked into toasted hoagie rolls for an easy dinner everyone can get behind.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F.
  2. Place bell pepper and onion in the air fryer basket. Arrange bratwurst links on top of the vegetables.
  3. Air fry for 6 minutes. Stir the vegetables and turn the bratwurst.
  4. Continue cooking for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the bratwurst reach an internal temperature of 160°F and the vegetables are tender and lightly browned.
  5. Place one bratwurst in each hoagie roll. Top with peppers, onions, spicy mustard, and provolone cheese.
  6. Return the assembled hoagies to the air fryer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the rolls are lightly toasted and the cheese is melted.

Tips & Tricks

If the air fryer basket is small, cook the bratwurst and vegetables in two batches to prevent overcrowding. For best browning, keep the bratwurst in a single layer and shake or stir the vegetables halfway through cooking.
