    1 package (12 ounces) Smoked Beef Brats, sliced

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, cook and stir sausage and onion in oil over medium heat until lightly browned; 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add 1/4 cup beer to deglaze the pan; cook and stir over medium heat until beer is evaporated, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the pinto beans, black beans, BBQ sauce, molasses and remaining 1/4 cup beer.
  4. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes.

01     Place sausage directly on grill grates, turning often to ensure even heating. Cook until sausages are heated and have grill marks; 8-10 minutes.

02     Cook and stir the onions in oil in a grill-safe skillet until tender. You can place the skillet directly on the grill grates.

03     Add sausage to skillet. Stir in the beans, BBQ sauce, and molasses.

04     Cook and stir mixture until everything is heated through and well combined.

05     Serve hot directly from the skillet.
